Scott Grimes has been with The Mattison Corporation for more than a decade. Working his way up from an entry-level position, Scott is now a partner in the company, and he is also the acting executive director for three of its clients. The excitement and satisfaction that comes with developing and moving a creative or strategic concept into a reality drives Scott to work hard daily for non-profit organizations.
A former teacher, Scott is passionate about learning from others and teaching his colleagues how to help non-profits make the most impact possible through their unique missions. Outside of the office, spending time with family, lifting weights and fishing for Northern Pike top his ideal to-do list.
Chris Price is a partner at The Mattison Corporation, where his leadership and fun-loving attitude keep non-profit associations thriving. Describing each day as a new adventure, Chris takes pride in helping clients fulfill their missions. Under his leadership, non-profit clients have experienced substantial growth, as has The Mattison Corporation.
Before joining The Mattison Corporation, Chris worked in the construction and civil engineering fields. He currently serves as president for the Indiana Construction Roundtable Foundation and also works with the Build Your Future Indiana program. Outside of work and philanthropy, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Stefanie, and their three sons. When he can get a break, you can find him on the golf course.
Robert joined the Mattison team in May of 2019. Robert brings twelve years of executive-level association experience to the Mattison Corporation. Robert graduated cum laude in 2002 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering Science. He immediately joined the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity professional staff in 2002 and has served as a Leadership Consultant, Director of Chapter Development, and Executive Director before becoming the Executive Vice President in 2007.
In 2019, Phi Kappa Theta transitioned from a captive staff to a managed association bringing the existing professionals from the Fraternity to Mattison Corporation.
Robert lives in Zionsville, Indiana, with his wife, Katie, daughter, Francesca and son, Myles. In his free time he serves in various volunteer opportunities with the Indiana Society ofAssociation Executives, Junior Chamber International Indianapolis Foundation and his Homeowners Association.
Lane Velayo joined the Mattison team as partner in 2022, having spent most of the past two decades working with associations. Lane’s work with associations includes executive leadership, strategic planning, facilitation and operations.
Lane joined the Mattison team as the owner of Synergos Association Management Company, which he owned for 5 years. During that time-frame, he grew Synergos AMC more than tripled in size and gained accreditation from the Association Management Company Institute (AMCI).
Lane is an active volunteer in the association space, regularly volunteering with the Indiana Society of Association Executives and AMC Institute. Lane is a past President of the Indiana Society of Association Executives Board of Directors and was recognized by that organization as an Association Executive of the Year. Lane has also been recognized by Association Forum as a ‘Top 40 under 40’ association professional and has held the Certified Association Executive designation since 2008.
In Lane’s day to day role as a Partner with Mattison, he serves as Executive Director for several associations and provides strategic services across a wide-range of partners.
